Fossa Bikes supports the Aspinall Foundation's work to protect endangered animals such as the fossa. The Aspinall Foundation is a registered charity and has created breeding sanctuaries for some of the world’s most endangered species. Visit Port Lympne Reserve or Howletts Wild Animal Park, both located in Kent, to see for yourself.
Fossa Racing have adopted a real live fossa as the team mascot! Ikongo is named after a town in eastern Madagascar. Born in San Diego on New Year's Day 2006, he later moved to a private collection in Bath. With only 2500 Fossa left in the world, Ikongo clearly has the fighting spirit we look for in our team riders. His home is now at Port Lympne Reserve, Kent, where he has lived with his mate Sambava in Carnivore Territory since August 2012. They had three pups in April 2014, born on our team manager's birthday!
